In the fall of 2008, Tabaimo stayed and worked at STPI for about three weeks.
The entire staff of the studio, of which there were about 10 people at the time, came together to work with Tabaimo for the three weeks.
The residency ended when Tabaimo had decided what she wanted to do and the staff at the studio understood what she wanted to do. Then, during the whole year of 2009, the works were completed thanks to the generous efforts of the workshop staff, who exchanged many e-mails and checked the status of the project with photos. The exhibition was held in April 2010.
The exhibition consisted of 22 works in six different formats which titled “wallpaper”, “in-inner”, “overnight”, “skinspots”, “deep forest”, and editioned work “show through”.
The exhibition space was composed with these works and interlocking animations projected in the exhibition hall.

When we draw a picture, naturally, you have a piece of paper in front of you.
Placing my materials on the piece of paper, I weave my image.
Drawing means taking over the white space on the papers.
Or soiling the papers’ pure whiteness.
When making paper became part of my work, I show my beastliness.
Realizing my monstrous act, I offer dignity through violence to create my works.
Tearing, cutting, burning, mashing, covering papers with papers.
Then the papers – the organic matter – convey a deep richness of expression.
