In the printing business, I understand they call the production of one more print with the ink left after the main print “ghost running.”
This term conjured up the vision of some magical act, like trying to catch something invisible, performed in a little
workshop.
The ghost print shows you images that could not be seen in the main print.
I etched the images provided by the ghost on copperplate.
I felt as if phenomena that had not been seen became visible with the layering of these images and the ghost.
