木屋の染み
2013
Video installation
Site-Specific @KIYA RYOKAN, “At Art Uwajima 2013”, Ehime, Japan
Set within Kiya Ryokan, a traditional inn in Uwajima City, Ehime, renovated by architect Yuko Nagayama, this art project unfolds. Manga artist Yoriko Hoshi wrote a novel inspired by the space, and contemporary artist Tabaimo transformed its world into a video installation throughout the inn.
Architecture, literature, and video art intertwine, drawing in the staying guests to become part of the work itself.
The memories born from this project are etched into the very fabric of Kiya Ryokan, weaving new layers of memory through the experiences of each visitor.
